My mentor Pat Lyons and his lovely wife Nancy
Pat introduced me and many others to Irish music. He has put up with my drum beating for many years. He and I were playing at the sessions at Tim Finnegan’s even before they moved to their current location. Pats love of Irish music has nutrured many musicians over the years. He is a true gift to the Irish music community, a wonderful human being, and I’m broud to say, my best friend.
Thank you Pat for all that you do in instilling the love of Irish music in us all.
